NCTR’s Design Academy Asset Mapping Tool helps communities identify and organize the people, organizations, resources, spaces, knowledge, and stories that can contribute to meaningful impact. By taking stock of existing community assets—including institutions, associations, businesses, nonprofits, advocacy groups, individuals, physical spaces, and local knowledge—teams can better understand their strengths, uncover connections, and identify opportunities to build on what already exists.
