Align the Statewide Teacher Workforce Ecosystem
NCTR partners with state education agencies to transform the teacher workforce by reimagining policies, practices, and resource flows to build and sustain effective teacher preparation pathways. With nearly 20 years of experience as a technical assistance provider, NCTR engages cross-system stakeholders to examine, modify, and implement evidence-based practices and approaches to address teacher shortages, grow their own talent, improve teacher quality, increase teacher retention, create teacher leadership opportunities, and ultimately improve student outcomes.

Empower Mentor Teachers Through Professional Learning
NCTR’s Mentor Teacher Professional Learning program develops and strengthens mentor teachers’ abilities to build trusting relationships, facilitate on-the-job learning experiences, and provide constructive feedback, ensuring teacher candidates develop the knowledge and skills needed to be effective teachers for their P-12 students.
