Strengthen an Existing Teacher Preparation Program

Grow your program and learn from and with a national community of teacher residency and apprenticeship leaders.

What is the NCTR Network?

The NCTR Network brings together educator preparation leaders from across the country who are committed to sustaining, scaling, and strengthening their high-quality teacher residency and registered apprenticeship programs.

What makes the NCTR Network unique is the combination of expert guidance, practical resources, and a powerful community of practice. Members gain access to robust in-person and virtual learning experiences designed to address real-world challenges, share promising practices, and accelerate program improvement.

Through the Network, members can:

  • Learn from peers and national experts who are leading innovative residency and apprenticeship models.
  • Access timely tools, resources, and technical assistance to strengthen program quality and sustainability.
  • Participate in collaborative problem-solving around common challenges such as funding, partnerships, recruitment, retention, and program implementation.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, policy developments, and opportunities impacting the educator workforce.
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues across states and regions who are advancing the field together.

The NCTR Network is more than professional learning—it is a national movement working to strengthen educator preparation and expand pathways into the teaching profession. By connecting leaders, sharing knowledge, and fostering innovation, the Network helps programs create lasting impact for educators, schools, and communities.
