The 2025–2026 year was a powerful reminder that meaningful change in teacher preparation happens when we work together. Across our Design Academy, Network, Boundless Educators Initiative, and partnerships, NCTR brought together organizations, educators, and leaders to strengthen teacher residency and apprenticeship pathways, expand access to well-prepared educators, and advance a more effective educator workforce that values and reflects the communities they serve. Through shared learning, strategic investment, and a commitment to innovation, our collective efforts helped programs respond to the evolving needs of schools, communities, and aspiring teachers.
