Randall Lahann, Ph.D.

Director of Programs

Randall Lahann, Ph.D., is a Director of Programs at NCTR. He joined the staff in 2021. In his role, he supports programs across the NCTR Network to recruit, prepare, and retain teachers in support of NCTR’s mission and vision. Prior to joining NCTR, Randall was the founder and executive director of the Nashville Teacher Residency (NTR), one of NCTR’s Network programs. Before founding NTR, he was the Director of Curriculum for the Match Teacher Residency in Boston. Randall completed his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at Boston College, where he taught classes in Special Education and teacher inquiry. Randall began his career in education in 2000 in San Jose, California as a Teach For America Special Education teacher.
