Christen Edwards

Manager of Research and Evaluation

Christen Edwards joined NCTR June 2024 as the Manager of Research and Evaluation. In this role, she supports the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to demonstrate the effectiveness of the teacher residency model and advance the teacher residency movement. Christen started her career as an educator, teaching preschool, kindergarten, and fifth grade. Her most recent position was as a Research Coordinator in the Health and Discrimination Lab at Virginia Commonwealth University. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge pertaining to research around race, ethnicity, and the educational experiences of K-12 students.
