NCTR Symposium 2026 – April 21-22, 2026

This in-person event is exclusive to NCTR Network and Residency Design Academy (RDA) members.

We’re excited to announce the NCTR Symposium 2026 will be held April 21-22, 2026 in Decatur, Georgia, cohosted by Dekalb County School District’s IGNITE Teacher Residency. We are thrilled to welcome our NCTR Network members for two days of celebrating “The Power of We: Driving Change Through Connection.”

The NCTR Symposium 2026 will bring together a wide range of education professionals, including:

 

 

  • Teachers
  • University and college faculty
  • Education deans
  • Teacher leaders
  • School district personnel and superintendents
  • State licensure and certification professionals
  • Education leaders
  • State and federal policymakers

Together, we’ll identify and highlight effective, equitable strategies, resources, policies, and practices that strengthen the teacher workforce—particularly with a focus on recruiting, preparing, and retaining teachers from historically marginalized communities.

Keynote speakers, sessions, and workshops have been carefully curated to engage participants to examine research and cutting-edge strategies, resources, policies and practices. Each day of the two-day event will begin at 8:30 a.m., and Day 2 will conclude at about 2:30 p.m. Register early to confirm your spot!
