Site Visit to Tulare, CA – March 11-13, 2025

This in-person event is exclusive to NCTR Network members.

The California Center on Teaching Careers, housed at Tulare County Office of Education (TCOE), offers the Teacher Residency for Rural Education (TRRE) Project in partnership with California State University partners and LEAs. With support from state and federal funding, TRRE prepares diverse residents for teaching secondary education in high need STEM content areas, embedding certification for Computer Science that all residents obtain as part of their program. Starting this fall, expanded pathways include Education Specialist with plans to expand to Bilingual Education, and multiple subjects next year. TCOE is also the first to start a School Counselor Residency, welcoming the first cohort this past July.

NCTR Network members will receive an email with further details.
