December 15, 2023 — The National Center for Teacher Residencies’ (NCTR) Black Educators Initiative (BEI) was highlighted in an opinion column in EdWeek that spoke to what teachers of color need to be effective educators in a school district. BEI’s report, “Doing Better for Black Educators,” was spotlighted as action steps that school districts and policymakers should take to be able to meet the needs of teachers of color.
