Erica Romero

Erica Romero is currently the Managing Director of Policy at NCTR. A California native, she is a seasoned advocate and policy expert with a passion for equity in education. With a wealth of experience spanning various roles in education policy and advocacy, Erica has dedicated her career to driving positive change for underrepresented communities and is deeply engaged in both federal and state governments. Recently, Erica served as the vice president of Education Policy and Advocacy at Latinos for Education in Washington, D.C. In this capacity, she spearheaded initiatives to provide thought leadership, policy analysis, and development, while nurturing essential relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the federal education landscape.
