Krystian Palmero

Krystian Palmero joined NCTR as an Associate Director of Programs in 2023. In this role, he co-designs and delivers culturally and linguistically sustaining practices (CLSPs) aligned with programming and consulting to teacher residencies across the teacher preparation continuum to promote equity for students of color and other marginalized groups. Krystian has a broad range of experience in the classroom, at school sites, and at national nonprofit organizations. Krystian’s past work focuses on designing and providing high-quality, culturally responsive instruction; teacher preparation and development; and organizational capacity building. Based in Chicago, Krystian received his bachelor’s degree in Policy, Planning, and Development from the University of Southern California, holds a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in curriculum & teaching (history) from Boston University, and is a National Aspiring Principals Fellow through New Leaders.
