Chicago – Urban Teacher Residency United, the nation’s leader in the scale, development, and support of effective teacher residency programs, has changed its name to the National Center for Teacher Residencies, or NCTR. With the new name comes a renewed commitment to transforming teacher preparation through the launch and sustainability of residencies, the sharing of best practices and research, and an expanded policy and advocacy effort.
