NCTR believes in the importance of building productive, respectful relationships across the teacher residency program with program staff, training site and district leaders, other teacher residents, and teacher educators (course instructors and mentors). In this institute, design teams will develop resident matriculation activities, onboarding practices for teacher residents, mentor teachers, and principals, and a plan for mentor professional development.
