Anissa Listak is NCTR’s CEO and Founder. Anissa has dedicated the last 17 years to building and sustaining the teacher residency movement, first working for a Chicago residency program and then launching NCTR in 2007. As CEO, Anissa sets the vision for and directs the strategic operations of NCTR, as well as overseeing national fundraising efforts, policy and advocacy, and network development. In prior roles, Anissa lead development efforts at City Year Seattle/King County and Public Allies Chicago, both AmeriCorps programs engaging youth in community service. She has experience in business and non-profit development, organizational capacity building, fundraising, strategic planning, and board development. Anissa has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Dayton and a Master of Science in Public Service Management from DePaul University.
